The DOT issue was discussed in the original thread, so I don't know how he wasn't "forthcoming"...Dave N also commented on the DOT issue, not that I have ever had anyone inspect my headlights, so I could care less. Much like HID's. John is also not "offering them for sale" and when Andy attempted to post about it here the thread was deleted. FWIW: My A4 does not have glass lenses and they are completely clear. No haze or yellowing. Perhaps that is why I don't care about the whole glass/poly bitchfest
